RESEARCH ACTIVITY

My research activity is mainly focused on the chemical vapour phase processes  starting from the synthesis of novel MOCVD precursors, to the fabrication of thin films  and nanostructured materials.

Current research interests include:

  1. the synthesis of metalorganic precursors of  lanthanides, transition, alkaline, and alkaline- earth metals for metal-organic chemical vapor deposition (MOCVD) and for Molecular Layer Deposition processes;
  2. MOCVD fabrication of nanostructured binary oxides;
  3. MOCVD of binary and complex fluorides as host matrices for up- and down-conversion materials;
  4. MOCVD of  functional perovskites (LaCoO3, La1-xSrxMnO3, BiFeO3, Pr1-xCaxMnO3);
  5. Hybrid multifunctional systems by a combined MOCVD/MLD approach.

She has authored more than 170 articles on peer-reviewed journals and more than 90 contributes to national and international conferences.
