Startup Academy

As part of the EUNICE – European University alliance, in collaboration with the Third Mission Area, we announce that the EUNICE Startup Academy will be held from June 5 to 9, 2026, at YouCube – UniCT.

The Startup Academy, aimed primarily at students and doctoral students, but also at young researchers interested in European innovation and entrepreneurship, represents an important interdisciplinary and international training opportunity that promotes innovative business ideas, sustainability, and innovation. The initiative is also linked to the "EUNICE Final Start Cup," a European competition that will offer selected teams the opportunity to participate in the international final scheduled for 2027 in Sweden. The competition will take place in two parts, continuing the ongoing StartUP Bootcamp :

On Friday, June 5, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM, the international workshop dedicated to "StartUp Mindset in a European Context" will be held. The event will be held online, in English, and is open to students and researchers from UniCT and the entire Eunice alliance.
The EUNICE StartUP Summer Camp will be held on Monday, June 8th and Tuesday, June 9th. This intensive in-person program (in Italian) will be held at the YOUCUBE incubator in the Third Mission Area, aimed at UniCT students and doctoral students. During the two days, participants will work on developing entrepreneurial ideas through practical and training activities (pitch, business plan, soft skills, and teamwork), alternating with group work. Upon completion, the projects will be presented to a panel of judges, and the winning team will gain direct access to the Start Cup Catania 2026 and the EUNICE international final scheduled for 2027.
