Programme Launch A.Y. 2026–2027: Summer School in Catania, 7–11 September 2026
The University of Catania actively participates in the EUNICE Excellence Programmes, international high-level educational pathways combining advanced teaching, academic mobility, and collaborative research. Among the most significant initiatives is the Excellence Programme in Bioinspired Chemistry, developed in cooperation with European universities and associated partners.
Programme Structure

International Summer School – 6 ECTS
Intensive activities hosted in rotation by partner universities, focusing on emerging topics in bioinspired chemistry. -
On-site Courses – 12 ECTS
Courses delivered at the University of Catania. -
Shared Online Courses – 12 ECTS
Courses offered by partner universities through Erasmus virtual mobility. -
Research Mobility for Thesis – 30 ECTS
Research periods in partner laboratories through Erasmus+ Traineeship or co-supervised thesis projects.

The call is open to a maximum of 5 UNICT students for each pathway, with priority given to first-year students enrolled in the Master’s Degree Programme in Chemical Sciences.
