Qualified tutoring (senior tutor) - Deadline 9 January 2026
On 22 December 2025, a call for applications was published for the assignment of qualified tutoring positions (senior tutors) to support courses scheduled for the second semester of the degree programmes in Chemistry and Sustainable Chemistry for Industry, the Environment and Energy for the 2025/2026 academic year.

The Department of Chemical Sciences – University of Catania has published a call for 3 Erasmus+ mobilities (KA131) for participation in the Blended Intensive Programme (BIP)
“Discovering Research in a European Context”.
The call is open to first-year PhD students enrolled for the a.y. 2025/2026, with at least B2 level of English (CEFR).

Publication of the Merit Ranking – PhD Program in “Chemical Sciences” – 41st Cycle
We inform all candidates that, on October 2, 2025, the official decree (D.R. No. 3900) was issued, containing the general merit ranking of eligible candidates for the PhD Program in Chemical Sciences – 41st Cycle. Candidates who have been awarded a position, as outlined in Article 1 of the decree, are invited to complete their enrollment by October 10, 2025. Please note that this deadline is mandatory and cannot be extended.

Bando BIP “Bio-inspired chemistry for sustainable development”
The Department of Chemical Sciences promotes the participation of 5 students and PhD candidates in the Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) “Bio-inspired Chemistry for Sustainable Development”. The BIP represents a unique opportunity to explore advanced topics in bio-inspired chemistry within an international and multidisciplinary context. What to expect:
Laboratory class booking
Students who have to attend the laboratory in the second semester are requested to fill in by Sunday, the 28th of February the form on the web page of the degree course programme.
Open now the booking for the lessons in class for the 1st year students of the B.Sc. degree in Chemistry and Industrial Chemistry
We inform all students of the first years of the B.Sc. courses in Chemistry and Industrial Chemistry that, from now, one can book, through SmartEdu portal, the attendance face-fo-face to the lessons of the 2nd semester A.Y. 2020/2021. Students of the 2nd and 3rd years and all students of the M.Sc. degree in Chemical Sciences will follow in remote (Teams platform).
